Michelle Folster is a marketing communications professional with a background in publishing, public relations and marketing. Throughout her career, she has developed and launched many newsletters, brochures and other promotional materials, coordinated special events, performed market research and utilized a wide variety of marketing tools. Her diverse skills and experience enable her to assist clients with implementing marketing and public relations plans.
She helps clients with updating firm websites, using LinkedIn and other social media effectively, developing presentations and webcasts, and creating collateral materials and targeted mail campaigns.
In addition to handling marketing functions for clients, Michelle coordinates communications and marketing efforts for Accountants Advisory Group, maintains its website, creates presentations and collateral materials, and coordinates the planning of special events.
Prior to joining AAG, Michelle owned and managed a successful retail company and design firm, assisting clients with their marketing needs. She served on the Board of Directors of the Cold Spring Area Chamber of Commerce for six years, and currently volunteers for the Alzheimer’s Association of the Hudson Valley. She is a founding member of and bass drummer for the Hudson Highlands Pipe Band, serving as band secretary and manager of their website and social media.
A cum laude graduate of Mount Saint Mary College, Michelle earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications, and a Master of Science in Publishing from Pace University.
