On June 8, 2011 Joe Tarasco was a speaker at the New Jersey CPA Annual Convention in Atlantic City. Joe spoke on sales and mergers of accounting practices.
On June 7, 2011 Joe Tarasco was a featured speaker at the CPA Associates International Managing Partner Seminar in New Orleans. Joe presented "Building Your Business Strategies in Today's CPA Firm Practice Environment" and "Structuring Wealth Management and Financial Services for CPA Firms."
On May 19th, 2011 Joe Tarasco presented to the Connecticut State Society of CPAs on current trends and predictions in the accounting profession with an emphasis on M&A.
On May 18th, 2011 Joe Tarasco co-presented to the New Jersey Chapter of the Association of Accounting Administrators on the current trends and predictions in M&A and how firm administrators should take part in the process by assisting managing partners.
On April 26th, 2011 Joe Tarasco co-hosted a webinar on the current trends and predictions regarding M&A in the CPA profession and related professional liability risks to the Pennsylvania State Society of CPAs.
On July 16th, 2010 Joe Tarasco presented at CPA-USA Network's Annual Meeting. Joe spoke about the current and future threats to local CPA firms (3 to 15 partners) existing in today's accounting marketplace and the Top Ten Factors to be an independent and successful firm of the future.
Joe Tarasco spoke on Oct 19, 2010 to the Large and Medium size firm MAP Committee on mergers and the future of the accounting profession.
“MGI Annual World Conference“ – The Firm of the Future” at MGI Annual World Conference on October 24, 2008 in Mexico City. MGI is an international association of accounting firms, with over 200 offices in 75 countries. In this presentation, Joe discussed the necessary steps that accounting firms need to take to have a future succession plan to allow them to remain independent firms.
   
MGI European Annual Meeting – Joe facilitated discussions to the European members of MGI on the MGI Association wide strategic plan. The meeting took place in Vienna, Austria on June 14, 2007.
