“The Profitable Family Office Practice: A Workshop for Accounting Professionals” was held on Tuesday, June 16, 2015. Joe made two presentations during this one-day workshop which addressed some of the critical considerations and opportunities for accounting-based family office practices.

On May 18th, 2011, Joe co-presented to the New Jersey Chapter of the Association of Accounting Administrators on current trends and predictions in M&A and how firm administrators should take part in the process by assisting managing partners.
On April 26th, 2011, Joe co-hosted a webinar on current trends and predictions regarding M&A in the CPA profession and related professional liability risks to the Pennsylvania State Society of CPAs.
Joe spoke on Oct 19, 2010, to the Large- and Medium-size Firm MAP Committee on mergers and the future of the accounting profession.
On July 16th, 2010, Joe presented at CPA-USA Network’s Annual Meeting. He spoke about the current and future threats to local CPA firms (3 to 15 partners) existing in today’s accounting marketplace and the Top Ten Factors to be an independent and successful firm of the future.
Joe spoke on “The Firm of the Future” at MGI Annual World Conference on October 24, 2008, in Mexico City. MGI is an international association of accounting firms with over 200 offices in 75 countries. In this presentation, Joe discussed the necessary steps that accounting firms need to take to have a future succession plan to allow them to remain independent firms.
